Eudonia angustea (Curtis, 1827)

Wingspan: 17-22mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to November when it is attracted to light. In suitable conditions it can be earlier and later. Recorded from Las Descargues and the Causse. A predominantly coastal species of sandy habitats but is recorded in land and at altitude.

The larva feeds on moss with pupation taking place in the foodplant.
