Colostygia olivata ([Denis & Schiffermuller], 1775)

Wingspan: 22-25mm

A univoltine species flying in June and July. It is attracted to light but has only been recorded at Las Descargues on four occasions. A species of calcareous woodland.

The larva feeds on bedstraws, it overwinters as a small larva, continues feeding in the spring before pupating in plant detritus.
