Scopula submutata (Treitschke, 1828)

Mediterranean Lace Border
Acidalie embrouillée

Wingspan: 20-25mm

A bivoltine or even trivoltine species flying from May to October. It is an infrequent visitor to light but has been recorded at Las Descargues and from mv lights on the Causse. A species of open, dry grassland, garrigue, maquis and rocky slopes.

The larva feeds on Thymus spp.
