Blastobasis phycidella (Zeller, 1839)

Wingspan: 15-17mm

A univoltine species on the wing from late-May to early-August, a broadleaved and coniferous woodland and woodland margin species rarely taken at Las Descargues.

Larvae are found on decaying wood of Quercus and also fallen pine needles.
