Hypsopygia glaucinalis (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 20-32mm

A univoltine, possibly bivoltine species on the wing from April to October when it is an infrequent visitor to light. A species with a preference for a diversity of habitats, being recorded from woodland, scrub and from barns, stables and old or derelict agricultural buildings.

Larvae feed on vegetable detritus in all forms.
