Epinotia tedella (Clerck, 1759)

Wingspan: 10-13mm

A univoltine species on the wing early in the year from April to early-June. A scarce visitor to the lights of Las Descargues but more frequently recorded in and around the coniferous woodland of the plateau.

Larvae feed initially in mines within the needles of Picea abies and later in an untidy spinning.
