Bryotropha terrella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 14-16.5mm

A univoltine species on the wing from mid-May to early-September when it is attracted to light. Recorded from mv lights at Las Descargues and the the rocky bare ground of the plateau and Causse.

Larvae feed on the grass Agrostis capillaris and the moss Rhytidiadelphus squarrosus. Pupates grass and moss covered cocoon.
