Wingspan: 24-32mm

A trivoltine species on the wing from April to October. A relatively common species around Las Descargues and the Causse where it can be found in meadows, woodland margins and clearings.

The larvae feed on various herbaceous plants, Geranium, Erodium, Helianthemum, Lotus etc.
