Incurvaria masculella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 12-16mm

A univoltine species flying from mid-April when it is an occasional visitor to light and has been recorded from all woodland sites in the department.

Larvae are feeders on a variety of trees and shrubs, Crataegus monogyna, Carpinus betulus, Corylus avellana, Fagus sylvatica, Quercus spp. and Vaccinium spp. Pupation takes place on or near the ground overwinter.
