Ancylis selanana (Guenée, 1845)

Wingspan: 10-15mm

A scarce bivoltine species on the wing from April to June and again in July and August but with just a single record from the lights at Las Descargues. A pest species of Malus in some areas of Asia. A species of scrub and orchards. A poor photograph of a very flighty specimen.

Larvae feed between two leaves of Prunus spinosa, Crataegus, Pyrus, Padus and Cerasus spp. Pupation takes place in early spring.
