Eupithecia impurata (Hübner, 1813)

Wingspan: 20-24mm

A bivoltine species on the wing in June and July and again in September and October when it is a scarce visitor to light with just one record from Las Descargues and two from the Causse. A species of sunny herb-rich, dry rocky slopes.

Larvae feed on Campanula and Thymus species.
