Epinotia ramella (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 14-17mm

A univoltine, occasional bivoltine species on the wing from June to August (September) when it is an occasional visitor to the lights at Las Descargues but is more often recorded from the poplar plantations at Ladirat. A species of birch and poplar woodland.

Larvae feed on Betula and Populus species.
