Aproaerema anthyllidella (Hübner, 1813)

Wingspan: 10-12mm

A bivoltine species flying from April to June and again from July to September when it is an occasional visitor to the lights at Las Descargues but rarely encountered on the Causse. A species of dry, rough or unmanaged grassland.

First generation larvae feed in a distinctive leaf mines of Anthyllis vulneraria but those of the second generation feed on the flowers.
