Agriphila selasella (Hübner, 1813)

Wingspan: 21-30mm

A univoltine species on the wing in July and August. An relatively scarce species at Las Descargues but more frequent in the Bave Valley. A species of wet meadows and boggy habitats.

Larvae hibernates in silken tubes at the base of various grasses, Glyceria, Festuca, Poa spp.
