Capperia britanniodactyla (Gregson, 1867)

Wingspan: 18-22mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to August when it is an ocasional visitor to the lights of Las Descargues and the Causse where it favours dry, rocky, south-facing slopes.

Larvae feed on Teucrium scorodonia where they burrow into the stem causing the plant to wilt, it than feeds amongst the wilting leaves.
