Stigmella obliquella (Heinemann, 1862)

Wingspan: 4-5mm

A bivoltine species with adults on the wing in May and again in August. Adults are yet to be recorded at Las Descargues.

Eggs are laid on either side of smooth-leaved willows with larvae feeding in ribbon-like mines usually parallel to the rib of the leaf.
