Opostega salaciella (Treitschke, 1833)

Wingspan: 9-12mm

A univoltine species on the wing in June and July. It appears in the early evening when mating takes place after which it is attracted to light and has been recorded at all the Plateau traps as well as those in the Causse. A species of open, grassy habitats where its foodplant is found.

Larvae feed on Rumex acetosella.
