Ancylis comptana (Fr÷lich, 1828)

Wingspan: 11-14mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from early-April to the end of May then again from July to September when it is an occasional visitor to the lights of Las Descargues. A species of calcareous habitats with heath and dry grassland wherever its foodplants are found.

Larvae feed on various plants Teucrium, Thymus, Dryas, Potentilla etc.
