Platyedra subcinerea (Haworth, 1828)

Wingspan: 16-18mm

A univoltine species on the wing from July to September before hibernating in old barns or thatch emerging again in spring. A species of woodland, floristically-rich meadows and gardens.

Larvae feed on the seeds and flowers of Malva sylvestris and Althea officinalis, Urticae, Lavatera, .
