Agonopterix scopariella (Heinemann, 1870)

Wingspan: 18-21mm

A univoltine species on the wing from August to April with a period of hibernation through the coldest months. The species is a scarce visitor to the lights of Las Descargues, often with years passing without a record. A species of heath and woodland margins wherever its foodplant is found.

Larvae feed on Cytisus scoparius.
