Neofriseria peliella (Treitschke, 1835)

Wingspan: 13-16mm

A univoltine species with a short flight period in July, it has been recorded at light in and around Las Descargues but is more often swept in the unmanaged meadows of the Plateau.

Larvae feed on the lower leaves and stem of Rumex acetosella from a silken tube with pupation taking place amongst the lower leaves of the foodplant.
