Aristotelia subdecurtella (Stainton, 1859)

Wingspan: 12-15mm

A univoltine species on the wing from June to September. A scarce visitor to light at Las Descargues with just a single record to date almost certainly due to the fact that the species preferred habitat is river valleys, low moor, and wetlands the nearest of which occurs some 300m below the ridge on which Las Descargues sits.

Larvae feed Stachys palustris, Lythrum salicaria, Veronica anagallis-aquatica etc.
