Wingspan: 9-12mm

A univoltine species on the wing from May to the end of August. An occasional visitor to the lights at Las Descargues but more often taken in and around the unmanaged meadows of the plateau. A species of waste-ground, fallow arable land and light scrub of the Lot.

Larvae feed between October and May on the roots of Artemisia absinthium.
