Epinotia nanana (Treitschke, 1835)

Wingspan: 9-11mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from April to August when it is an occasional visitor to the lights at Las Descargues but more often encountered in the conifer plantations of the plateau.

Larvae feed on Picea abies, Abies alba, Picea excelsa, mining the needles and spinning between them.
