Endothenia oblongana (Haworth, 1811)

Wingspan: 10-15mm

A univoltine species on the wing from May to the end of October, a late afternoon and early evening flyer when it can be netted but also attracted to light as a crepuscular species. A species of calcareous grassland a habitat found throughout the plateau and Causse.

Larvae feed on the roots of Plantago lanceolata.
