Epermenia insecurella (Stainton, 1849)

Wingspan: 8-10mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from May to August. Adults have not been recorded at Las Descargues yet mines are common on Bastard Toadflax in the immediate area. The species is associated with chalk and limestone meadows.

Larvae feed in a web after leaving the linear mine in shoots and leaves of Thesium humifusum.
