Agrochola macilenta (Hübner, 1809)

Wingspan: 29-34mm

A univoltine species flying from early September to the end of November when it is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from all sites. A species associated with broadleaved woodland, heath, scrub, farmland and gardens.

Larvae feed on various trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Eggs are laid on the foodplant where they overwinter, larval feeding commences in the spring.
