L'Omie de l'hélianthème

Wingspan: 18-24mm

A very variable, diurnal, univoltine species on the wing from late April to late July. This specimen is only the second ever recorded in the Lot, the first being before 1935. A species of montane and alpine habitats and upland, dry meadows. Adults feeds on Caryophyllaceae species.

Larvae feed on the flowers of Helianthemum species.
