Chrysoteuchia culmella (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 20-24mm

A univoltine species flying from May to August when it is attracted to light and has been recorded from all grassland traps in upland and lowland habitats.

Larvae feed on various grass species. Pupation takes place in spring in a cocoon on the ground beneath the foodplant.
