Diaphora mendica (Clerck, 1759)

Muslin Moth

Wingspan: 25-35mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from April to June then again in July and August. The females are often seen flying during daylight whereas the males are frequent visitors to light and have been recorded from all sites.

The larvae are polyphagous on herbaceous plants and overwinter as pupae.
