Chiasmia clathrata (Linnaus, 1758)

Wingspan: 26-32mm

A bivoltine species flying from April to September. A day-flying species that also comes to light. It has been recorded from all sites but is most commonly found in open broadleaved woodland, woodland rides, meadows and grassy banks.

The larvae feed on clover and lucerne before overwintering as pupae.
