Cabera pusaria (Linnaeus, 1758)

Common White Wave

Wingspan: 32-35mm

Imago: bivoltine - April - May ; July - September. A frequent visitor to light and a moth often disturbed from vegetation by day. Recorded from all woodland sites and those with scrub vegetation.

Larva: feeds on birch, oak and various other tree and shrubs before overwintering as a pupa.
