La Phalène calabraise

Wingspan: male 28-33mm female 28-35mm

A univoltine species flying from mid-May to late-June. Taken occasionally from light traps set along the woodland heath at Las Descargues where Genista is abundant. The species can also be netted from around the foodplant during daylight hours.

The larva feeds on Genista, Cytisus, Thymus etc. Overwinters as a larva.
