Colocasia coryli (Linnaeus, 1758)

Nut-tree Tussock

Wingspan: 30-38mm

Imago: bivoltine - March-June ; July-September. A resident species and a frequent visitor to light. It has been recorded from all woodland sites.

Larva: feeds on Quercus, Fagus, Betulus, Corylus, Acer spp. Overwinters as a pupa.
