Oecophora bractella (Linnaeus, 1758)

Wingspan: 12-17mm

Imago: univoltine - May-August. A diurnal species that occasionally comes to light. Recorded from all woodland sites.

Larva: may feed on honey fungus although this still has to be established. Known to feed on the dead wood of various trees and shrubs. Overwinters as a larva.
