Petite Úpine

Wingspan: 15-24mm

A bivoltine species flying from April through to September when it is a frequent visitor to light but also flies in sunshine and has been recorded from all sites. A species favouring woodland margins, scrub and sunny grassy slopes.

Larvae feed on blackthorn, hawthorn, various fruit trees and bushes and rowan. Overwinters as pupae in a cocoon attached to bark or leaves.
