Epagoge grotiana (Fabricius, 1781)

Wingspan: 14-17mm

A bivoltine species on the wing from June to July and again in August and September. A regular visitor to light it has been recorded from all broadleaved woodland sites and traps along woodland margins.

The larva feeds on Quercus, Ulmus, Betula, Crataegus, Rubus spp. Overwinters as a larva.
