Eublemma parva (Hübner, 1808)

Small Marbled

Wingspan: 16-18mm

Imago: plurivoltine - May-October. A species of herb-rich, dry grassland and maquis, often overlooked or mistaken for a micro. It is a regular visitor to light and recorded from the Las Descargues garden traps every summer.

Larva: feeds on Inula conyza, Dittrichia and Centaurea spp., with pupation taking place in the flowerhead of the foodplant.
