Heliothis peltigera ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 34-42mm

Imago: plurivoltine - April-November. A subtropical species that occurs as a migrant over most of Europe, a species of warm, floristically rich, calcareous grassland and scrub. It is a frequent visitor to light but can also be observed flying strongly in sunshine.

Larva: polyphagous on herbaceous plants.
