Nola confusalis (Herrich-Schäffer, 1847)

Least Black Arches
La Nole confuse

Wingspan: 16-30mm

A univoltine species flying from April to June. A species of broadleaved woodland, woodland margins, scrub and gardens, a frequent visitor to light.

The larva feeds on various trees and shrubs, lichen and some herbaceous plants, overwinters as a pupa in a cocoon attached to the foodplant.
