Nycteola revayana (Scopoli, 1772)

Wingspan: 22-28mm

Imago: bivoltine - July-August ; September-November, March - May, some late autumn individuals overwinter. A species of broadleaved woodland, scrub and gardens. An occasional visitor to light and sugar.

Larva: feeds on Quercus spp., overwinter as an adult with pupation taking place in a cocoon on the underside of a leaf of the foodplant.
