Minucia lunaris ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 55-62mm

Imago: univoltine - March-June. A species of oak woodland it has been regularly recorded from all upland sites but is scarce on the Causse. A visitor to light and sugar.

Larva: feeds on various species of oak Quercus, overwintering as a pupa in leaf litter.
