Dysstroma siterata (Hufnagel, 1766)

Red-green Carpet
La Cidarie bandes verte

Wingspan: 29-35mm

A univoltine species flying from August to September and again after a period of hibernation from March to May. It is strongly attracted to light and has been recorded from all woodland habitats and all Las Descargues garden traps.

Larvae feed on various broadleaved trees and shrubs.
