Wingspan: 35-43mm

Imago: A univoltine species flying from September to April. Recorded from broadleaved woodland and scrub and taken at all the Las Descargues traps.

Larva: an omnivorous species feeding on various trees and shrubs but also known to consume the larvae of other moth species.
