Agonopterix pallorella (Zeller, 1839)

Wingspan: 19-22mm

Imago: A univoltine species on the wing from September to May when it is a frequent visitor to light and has been recorded from all chalk grassland sites and from all Las Descargues traps.

Larva: Feeds on Centaurea spp. and Serratula tinctoria. Pupation takes place below ground or in amongst plant detritus.
