Zygaena loti ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Wingspan: 26-34mm

Imago: A diurnal, univoltine species flying from May to August and taken only from daytime forays onto the limestone Causse where it can be the most common species.

Larva: Feeds on common bird's-foot trefoil, overwintering as a larva with pupation taking place in a white cocoon near, or even on the ground.
