Wingspan: 30-36mm
Imago: A univoltine species on the wing from July to October when it is attracted to light but has only been recorded as a singleton from the lower Las Descargues garden trap well away from its preferred habitat. Relatively recently discovered in France from the Doubs in 1975.
Larva: Molinea caerulea and possibly other moorland and wetland grasses.
