Ochropleura plecta (Linnaeus, 1761)

Flame Shoulder
Le Cordon blanc

Wingspan: 28-34mm

Imago: A bivoltine species on the wing from April to October in overlapping generations, it is strongly attracted to light and sugar. Recorded from most habitats and has been taken at the Las Descargues traps.

Larva: Polyphagous on herbaceous plants, overwinters in the pupal state.
