Drepana curvatula (Borkhausen, 1790)

Wingspan: 34-44mm

A bivoltine species flying from April to June and again from July to the end of August. It is attracted to light and has been recorded from all woodland sites where oak and birch are found although never a common species.

The larva feeds on Betula, Quercus and Alnus spp. before overwintering as a pupa.
