Hoplodrina ambigua ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

L'Ambiguë

Wingspan: 28-34mm

Imago: A bivoltine species flying from April to November in two overlapping generations. It is attracted to light and sugar and has been recorded from various habitats; woodland, grassland, heathland, scrub and gardens.

Larva: Polyphagous on herbaceous plants, overwinters as a larva before pupating underground in early spring.
